Role Overview
As a senior risk adviser Martin covers a broad class of general insurance products, seeking optimal risk management and insurance outcomes for clients. Based on his farming background he has a special interest in the Food, Fibre and Agribusiness sector.
Personal Anecdote
Martin co-founded a specialist agricultural underwriting agency and a former public not-for-profit company (discretionary mutual fund), has product & portfolio management insurance experience in the Technical Division of a global insurer, as well as experience as a property investment banker. His professional history includes:
- Representing Allianz on the Insurance Council of Australia’s ‘Rural Affairs Working Committee’.
- Member of Statistics Committee of the industry’s Crop Insurance Services Pty Ltd as product manager for Allianz.

Drawing on his previous work experience Martin’s special interests include:
- Agricultural value chain, (Food, Fibre & Beveridge), Agribusiness sector and AgriTech.
